What is Dreamplace?

Dreamplace is a Canarian Company that is formed by 4 hotels, 3 of which are located in Tenerife and the 4th in Lanzarote.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Animals are not permitted except guide dogs.

Can you prepare some kind of detail for a birthday (flowers, bottle of champagne...)?

We want you to feel at home, and so we can take care of ordering a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of cava...etc. The price depends on the request. Contact reception for more information.

Is there a safe in the room?

Yes, there is a safe in the room and you have free use of it.

How can I book my room number?

You can browse the 3D map of our hotel and choose the room that best suits your needs.

It is important to note that the room selection request will not take effect until you confirm your reservation at the hotel and is subject to availability, so you will be notified by email when your room has been successfully assigned. In the event that the room you selected is not available, we will offer you an alternative with similar features.

The additional cost for room selection will be paid at the time of check-in at the hotel reception.

How can I make an upgrade to my room?

There are various ways. You can contact our reception, or if it is before your arrival you can telephone our call centre: 0034 922 979 281. You can also contact us through our website, or on the customer zone if you are a member.

Is the cot free of charge?

Yes, We regard that chidren are babies from 0-1,99 years included and no extra charge is necessary for the cot.

How many TV channels are available in the room?

There are approximately 100 channels available in various languages.

Do all the rooms have a balcony?

Yes, all the rooms have a balcony and/or terrace.

Are slippers and a bathrobe provided in the room?

No, only bathrobes and slippers are provided in the Suite rooms.

Do all the superior rooms have a sea view?

No, the superior and the superior ocean view are different room categories. Our hotel reserves the right to change these prices without previous notice, please contact our reception to verify the cost.

What is the difference in price between the Superior and the Superior Ocean View?

What is the hotel's policy on smoking?

At the Gran Castillo Tagoro Family & Fun hotel, we have designated smoking areas. Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms but is permitted on the terraces or balconies.

Is it possible to put an extra bed instead of the sofabed in the room?

It is not possible to replace the sofa bed with an extra bed

Are refridgerators provided in the room?

Our rooms have an empty minibar that you can fill to your liking (with charge). The Minibar is keeps any food/drink at a cool temperature, but does not actually cool the item down.

Is there a kettle and coffee machine in the room?

Our rooms do not have a coffee machine but you are able to rent one. However, you do have a tea/coffee set in your room. You can rent the coffee machine at an additional cost, subject to availability.

What is the size of the beds?

The single beds are 1,10m and the double beds are 2m (width).

From what time is the room available on our arrival date?

In order to receive your room in perfect conditions, we try to make sure it is available from 3pm.

If we arrive late the first night, will we have a dinner waiting for us?

We offer you a cold dinner, courtesy of the hotel, but we also have available "room service" with additional charge, whose menu can be found in the rooms.

What time do I have to leave the room on my departure date?

Our reception should have the keys back by 11am at the latest.

And if I want to leave my room later than usual on my departure date?

You can ask in reception for a late checkout at an additional charge: until 2pm to 25€; until 5pm to 50€.

What is the hotel policy on sunbeds by the pool?

It is FORBIDDEN to reserve them, In any case, we ask our guests to go to enquire with our pool staff if in need of a sunbed. They will be happy to help find a place to enjoy the swimming pool. As for towels, these maybe changed during the schedule we set up in the morning and late afternoon. This is currently from 10am to 11am and 4pm to 5pm, but could vary depending on the season. Remember that the hotel staff reserves the right to release the hammocks with any belongings in case it is unused for a prolonged period. Only in this way can we guarantee a fairer service for all customers.

Are the swimming pools heated?

For sustainability reasons, heated pools are the main pools of the hotel, which are usually around 25 degrees Celsius.

What are the opening hours of the pool? And, the hours in which a change of towels can be made?

The pool is open from 10am-6pm in winter and 10am-6.30pm in the summer. Outside of these hours, we accept no liability as to the use of the swimming pool. Towels can be changed from 10am-11am and 4pm-5pm.

Is the Spa free of charge?

Enjoy a complimentary spa circuit per guest for your stay when booked through our website or customer service center with an all-inclusive package. Please note, other circuits and treatments come with an extra charge.

Children aged 4-12 can only access the Spa between 10:00 am and 11:00 am and from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. Children aged 13 to 16 must be accompanied by adults and their access will be at the following times:

12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

What does the thermal circuit include? Can I use any of the services separately?

The thermal circuit offers a combination of hydro-massage pools, swimming pool and toning; saunas, baths and therapeutic showers and cannot be used separately.

Is there an indoor pool?

There only an indoor swimming pool located within the SPA. To make use of it, you must purchase a thermal circuit. The hotel offers a free entrance to the Spa per person booked in website or call center per stay.

Can children enter the Spa?

The Spa is only for people over 15 years old, but during reduced hours, we allow entry for children aged 4-12 between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM and from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Minors between 13-16 years old must be accompanied by adults and their access will be at the following times with prior reservation:

12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Yes, the pool towel service is executed from reception/pool between 10am-11am and 4pm-5pm.The service is free, but a charge to the room of 20€ deposit per towel will be made. On departure this charge will be cancelled and refunded. Our hotel reserves the right to change rates without prior notice, please call reception to verify the cost.

Yes, of course. We are a family hotel and we have a club known as Club Camelot for children aged from 4 years. And it's FREE!

What time does the gymnasium open?

The gymnasium opens from Monday to Sunday at 7am-9pm.

Are there shows everynight?

Yes, entertainment is our speciality. We count on nightly shows, some performed by our professional entertainers and others by external performers contracted by our hotel.

What distance is the hotel from the beach?

The hotel is on the beach front. Just in front of the hotel is a pebble beach. But you have surely heard of the paradisiac Papagayo beaches, that are only 15 minutes away by foot, if you access it through the Playa Blanca natural reserve.

Is there free transport from the hotel Gran Tagoro to the beach?

Since the Papagayo beaches are found in the natural reserve there is no possibility to organize a bus transfer but you can access them by car.

What is the distance from the hotel to Playa Blanca?

There are several options, 45 minutes walk down the Paseo Marítimo, 10 minutes by bus or 5 minutes in a taxi (costing approximately 4-6€).

Is there a dresscode for dinner?

Yes, the use of long trousers or shorts for men and shirts that do not show the armpits is obligatory. The speciality restaurants (PORTOFINO and SANSOFE), it is obligatory for gentlemen to wear long trousers at dinner.

We have a wide variety of gluten-free products (pasta, pizza, bread, pancakes, desserts) and we adapt to the needs of the customer. No additional charge is made, you just have to notify at the entrance of the restaurant.

Can you prepare purées for babies?

For the smallest children we offer a daily menu of purées. If you would like a specific purée or a distinct ingredient there could be an additional charge.

Is there free transprot to the Playa Blanca village?

Unfortunately we do not offer free transport to the Playa Blanca village.

Does the All Inclusive board work 24hrs a day?

Our All Inclusive service in Gran Tagoro is valid from 10am-12am.

No, not all brand named drinks are included. Consult the drinks menu at our selling points to clear any of your queries.

Can I use any type of floatation device in the hotel pool?

No, according to the current Spanish regulations for the use of swimming pools, only specialized floatation devices to assist with swimming are allowed.
